AnyRouter

Amazon Bedrock (BYOK)

How to create an API key for Amazon Bedrock and add it to AnyRouter via Bring Your Own Key.

Use Claude from your own AWS account. AnyRouter calls Claude in Amazon Bedrock with your Bedrock API key, so AWS bills you directly.

Get your API key

  1. In the AWS console, open Amazon Bedrock → Model access and enable the Claude models you want in your region.
  2. Open Amazon Bedrock → API keys and create a key. Copy it immediately.
  3. Paste a JSON object into AnyRouter: { "api_key": "<your Bedrock API key>", "region": "us-east-1" }. Use the region where Claude is enabled.

Gotchas

Only Bedrock API keys are supported for now. An access key ID with a secret does not work yet. Claude Opus 4.7 and later, Sonnet 5 and later, Haiku 4.5 and later, and Fable are served; Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6 are not. Regional endpoints cost 10% more than global ones on AWS.

Add it to AnyRouter

  1. Go to Dashboard → BYOK.
  2. Find Amazon Bedrock under Available and click Add key.
  3. Paste your key into the API key field.
  4. Click Save. AnyRouter runs a live validation call against Amazon Bedrock before storing the key — if it fails, the dialog shows the upstream error and the key isn't saved.
