Azure (BYOK)
How to create an API key for Azure and add it to AnyRouter via Bring Your Own Key.
Azure is a supported BYOK provider. Bring your own Azure Foundry resource (endpoint URL, deployment name and key), and AnyRouter routes your requests through it — no platform credits are charged for BYOK-backed calls.
Get your API key
- In the Azure AI Foundry portal, deploy Microsoft-Decision-1 from the model catalog.
- On the deployment page, copy the resource endpoint, the deployment name and the API key.
- Enter them in the Resource endpoint, Deployment name and API key fields when adding the key. For the API or CLI, send them as one JSON object with
endpoint_url,deploymentandapi_key.
Gotchas
The endpoint must be https://<resource>.services.ai.azure.com or https://<resource>.openai.azure.com (no path, port or IP). Requests go straight to your Azure resource and bill to your Azure account.
Add it to AnyRouter
- Go to Dashboard → BYOK.
- Find Azure under Available and click Add key.
- Paste your key into the API key field.
- Click Save. AnyRouter runs a live validation call against Azure before storing the key — if it fails, the dialog shows the upstream error and the key isn't saved.
